Hi everyone
I hope you and your families are all OK, that you're all still talking to your housemates, that your hair is looking good and that your sourdough/banana bread is coming along a treat. After exactly 100 days of waiting, it looks as if we're heading into a strange and surreal end to the season..... but we're all used to a bit of strange and surreal by now aren't we. We have 6 players left in (Anna, Danny, Des, Marc P, Marc W and Poppy), who all managed to survive the first 5 weeks of the current pool and are still in with a chance of winning the £1185 MEGA-ROLLOVER pot. I've had to work out a way to structure the upcoming games so that they resemble the 'weeks' that we're used to playing, and as such I've not looked at which teams everyone has already chosen and have gone purely on grouping together the games that mean teams don't play twice within each of the brackets, as much as I possibly can. All this does mean that the turnaround between games will be less than 24 hours in some cases, so please bare with me if I get a bit pushy when asking for your next predictions, but it'd be awful to miss out if you were, say, driving to Durham and missed your chance to predict. So, for our opening foray in to the unknown, please click HERE to make your week 6 prediction. (If you pick Arsenal, please email me with which of their games you're going for, as they're playing twice in this bracket). Other than that, all I can say is that I'm sorry that I spent the winning pot on toilet roll back in March, meaning whoever wins will have to come and collect their winnings in a van, but I will throw in a free mask, so that's a bonus. PS - Only kidding, of course I didn't spend it on toilet roll..... I spent it on beer.... which I now realise is going to be much harder to collect. Comments are closed.
