We make this look easy don't we.
Everyone's a winner this weekend, so on we march to week 8.... Unless of course you're a Man Utd fan, in which case.... well, there's nothing I can say here without sounding condescending and it's hard to get the feeling of 'stifled laughter' across, without actually typing it... like that. To the magnificent 7 that made it through, click HERE to make your next prediction and HERE to see your previous picks. Be aware, week 8 starts with a Friday night game, so I'll need predictions in by Thursday night please. Cheers. Have a good week. We're in week 7 with 7 players left in.... it's got to be an omen. Does it mean that something special's going to happen... a winner.... a rollover.... one of the bottom three actually win a game... or is just that everyone got their prediction in nice and early and this update has caught you all by surprise?.... Yeah, that'll be it.
Whatever it is, the remaining players predictions can be seen below, with just Des and myself able to walk off with the £520 pot this weekend. I'll be back on Saturday evening with the results. Have a great weekend, I'm off to watch Pogba vs Mourinho in the 'Super Arrogant Over-Paid' fight. Blimey, what a calamitous weekend. Of the 7 different teams picked only 4 managed to win, meaning we lose 8 players.
Sir Alex came back to Old Trafford, to a rousing reception and a pitiful display against Wolves. Bournemouth.... well that wasn't even close at Burnley was it? And Watford... Oooooohhh, no quite enough to beat Fulham. That leaves us with 7 players to go through to week 7 (me being one of them, which is almost unheard of). Click HERE to make that next prediction if you're through and HERE to see your previous choices. Have good week. As we head into week 6, our 15 remaining players have gone for 7 different teams.... Which could be some kind of record...... if I'd had the foresight to keep a track of such things?
Man Utd (4) are the favourite pick with Iain (Spurs) and Tamara (Leicester..... yes, I checked) the only players able to win the £520 pot... which'd buy you a nice autumn jacket,.... just in time by the looks of things. I'll be back after the Arsenal game on Sunday with all the results, don't get blown away in the meantime. Hope you all have a great weekend. Al So what did we all learn this weekend?
1 - Wolves are on a bit of roll. 2 - Everton can't win without Richarlison. 3 - Eden Hazard will be moving to Real Madrid/Barcelona in the next transfer window. Seven of you drop out this week after West Ham managed to grab their first points of the season after beating Everton on their managers birthday. And Southampton could only draw last night taking Rob F out. That leaves 15 players to go through to week 6 and an even trickier set of games to choose from. Good Luck all. For those of you that got through, click HERE to make your next prediction and HERE to see all your previous choices. Have a good week. |
